All Washburn County ATV Trails are open at this time. There may be a few rough spots and minor washouts from recent rain fall, but overall the trails are in good condition. If you plan to travel to surrounding counties, please check their trail conditions as north and northeast of us, most trail systems are closed at this time due to extensive damage.

If fire danger is elevated to very high or higher, Washburn County will have enforcement staff monitoring trails for unauthorized use. Be aware that fires can start from grass and dead leaves in contact with hot machine components. Be cautious not to stop or park machines in areas of dry grass or other forest litter. Be careful with any cigarettes or other smoking materials and campfires are not recommended. Please note that campfires on county forest lands are not permitted in the towns of Chicog, Casey, Springbrook or Minong (Sand/Pine Townships).
