Washburn County ATV trails will officially re-open Saturday morning, May 26th. This marks the end of our spring closure as county ordinances set Saturday morning of Memorial Weekend as the trail opener.

Washburn County received much needed rainfall, Thursday & Friday morning. Riders are, however, still encouraged to monitor fire levels prior to heading out on the trail. ATV trails automatically close at any time that Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources fire danger is listed at very high or higher. ATV use on Washburn County Forest lands is also restricted during periods of very high or higher fire danger.
