Trail Report: Spooner / Washburn County Wisconsin – August 5, 2019

Trail Conditions: Open

Date of Report: August 5, 2019

Area Report:

All Washburn County ATV trails are open and in good condition! Our area has received a few storms over the past month, so please use caution on the trails and ride with care. If you notice a washout forming or a tree down, please report any trail issues to Washburn County Forestry Department at 715-635-4490. Please tread lightly, staying on designated trail surfaces out of respect for our land owners. All trails will remain open unless DNR Fire Danger is rated at Very High or Extreme. Please refer to the below link for current fire danger status.

Please note that motorcycles and dirt bikes are NOT permitted on our trails.

Land use agreements with private landowners for snowmobile trails do not permit the use of ATV’s at any time of the year, so please stick to the designated ATV/UTV trails.

Hello Riders!

TUSCOBIA TRAIL NEWS: the Tuscobia east of Radisson to past Winter IS CLOSED until further notice.   A Detour is in place, and it is signed…PLEASE take County Rd W to Old Highway 70 into Radisson

Otherwise… all of our other trails… the Sawyer County Forest trails (Seeley Hills) and the Chequamegon National Forest trails are OPEN! Stay alert for any trail maintenance and brushing that may be going on.

REMEMBER! the Chequamegon National Forest and the Flambeau Forest are all open to UTV’s 65″ or less. No restrictions in Sawyer County – but check your map when riding into Bayfield County.

Sawyer County has over 200 miles of funded trails, plus miles and miles of road routes, which includes trails throughout the Chequamegon National Forest, the Flambeau State Forest, Sawyer County Forest, the Tuscobia State Trail, and the Lac Courte Oreilles Trails.

Non-Resident Trail Pass is Required for ATVs.

Trail Report: Antigo | Langlade County, Wisconsin – July 22, 2019

The Langlade County ATV trail system will close immediately and will remain closed until further notice due to extensive storm damage.  This includes the Parrish Highlands, Augustyn Springs, Pickerel/Pearson, Antigo and the White Lake/Elton trails.  For further updates go to www.langladecounty.org
