ATV, UTV & Off-Road Motorcycle Trail Report – 8/22/18

  • Flambeau Trail System (70 miles) ~ OPEN May 1 through March 15 – The trail is in good riding condition. On Sunday afternoon
(August 5, 2018)  a small isolated thunderstorm hit the Flambeau Trail in the Sailor Lake area. Trails 118G-102, 118LN, and 118H-121 had trees down, primarily between FR 653 and Sailor Lake Road. USFS crews were able to saw out the trails and make them passable on Monday. The USFS Heavy Equipment crew has wrapped up their work, so trail users should not encounter any equipment on the trail. Several failed culverts were replaced, mud holes/wet spots fixed, and rough spots were bladed.
